Overtime
Berlin - Rheem 22 FG, 6:13

K Jamie Rheem was the hero in last years NFC Championship when he kicked a 49 yard FG on the games final play, here he was the hero again thanks to a short FG in overtime. The game was a defensive battle for most of it with both teams not moving the ball in the 4Q. Finally in overtime HB Damien Anderson who had had a poor game up to this moment burst out for a 41 yard run which helped set up the FG. Bad luck to Frankfurt who had a great season but failed again in the NFC Championship to their rivals Berlin. Congrats to Andreas Born on reaching a second consecutive FWL Bowl, he had a QB controversy earlier this year and also a new HB cutting fan favourite Avon Cobourne but the decisions were right as he makes another final.

After a close first half the Surge fan away with the game in the 4Q as Orlando finally collasped. Orlando had the lead in the 2Q leading by a baseball score of 6-5, but then Surge HB Kory Chapman who had a fine year sprinting 79 yards for the touchdown and the Surge led at the half. They could only add a 3Q FG and entered the 4Q leading just 15-6 but then Sacramento finally moved ahead with two 4Q touchdowns and Orlando couldnt move the ball at all. Bad luck to Jason Compton, despite the loss the Surge had a fine year going from 2-12 to the AFC Championship in just a year and they have some fine young players. For Sacramento congrats to TC Finney, TC has been in the FWL for many seasons and this is his best season by far, last year the Surge didnt even make the playoffs and a year later here they are hosting the big game. It is the Surges first FWL Bowl since FWL Bowl X and Surge fans will badly want to win the championship.
