DT Anton Palapoi (Birmingham) for 3rd and 7th round draft picks (Rhein)
Palapoi who is the quickest DE in the league is traded to Rhein. Palapoi, a former 4th round pick, has blazing quick speed and has 3 sacks this year. For his career he has 19 sacks and had 6 last year.
QB Joe Hamilton (Barcelona) for an 8th round draft pick (Birmingham)
Hamilton who was traded to the Dragons earlier this year returns to the Fire after losing his starting job. Hamilton should start for Birmingham due to an injury to their starting QB and has a chance to make the job his own again.
HB Jarrett Payton (Ohio) for LB Aden Durde and HB Gerald Riggs Jnr (New York)
Huge trade ! Payton who was once the star of Ohio and helped lead the Glory to the FWL Bowl is traded a year later. Payton was one of the best RB's in the league but injuries and hot/cold performances have landed him in the doghouse. Ohio pick up a great LB in Durde and a 'Payton-esque' HB in Riggs who has talent but so far has played poorly. Should be interesting to see how these players do for their new teams.
C Enoch DeMar and T Thomas Barnett (Frankfurt) for DE Aaron Hunt and a 5th round draft pick (Berlin)
Talented C DeMar moves to Berlin where he should immediately start as he now becomes their best offensive lineman. With Cully arriving from Mexico the Galaxy also trade talented veteran Barnett who was a starting tackle for Frankfurt for many years including two FWL Bowl wins. In return Frankfurt pick up DE Hunt who is an excellent player and becomes their best d-lineman. Hunt who has been a backup in Berlin should do very well with the Galaxy.
CB Randee Drew (San Antonio) for S Eric Taylor and a 2nd round draft pick (Frankfurt)
Backup Drew who has 55 career tackles and an int moves to Frankfurt as the Galaxy trade more draft picks. The Riders get a high 2nd round pick and veteran Taylor who has 267 tackles in his career in return.
T Steve Cully (Mexico) for 3rd and 4th round picks (Frankfurt)
Frankfurt who have struggled to run the ball send two draft picks to Mexico for Cully. Cully a former 6th round pick of Mexico has been a great backup and with his talent should start for the Galaxy.
TE Ben Hall (Scotland) for 2nd and 4th round draft picks (Berlin)
Scotland who had 3 talented TE's trade their 3rd string Hall to Berlin. Hall has great skills and despite just 12 career catches has bags full of potential.
DT Durrand Roundtree (Birmingham) for an 8th round draft pick (Orlando)
Nice pickup by Orlando, Roundtree a talented veteran had 8 sacks last year and 7 the year before at DT. For his career Roundtree has 57 and nearly 200 tackles, great figures for a DT.
CB James Thornton (Orlando) for a 5th round pick (Mexico)
Thornton who had 63 tackles last year and has over 450 in his career moves to Mexico where he hopes to see more action. A talented veteran Thornton gives Mexico great depth.
LB Grant Steen (Barcelona) for a 1st round pick (Birmingham)
Steen who was nearly traded to Mexico is instead traded to Birmingham. Steen had a great season last year with 62 tackles, 4 sacks, an int and a fumble recovery. The year before he had 6 sacks for the Dragons. Barcelona get a 1st round pick back in return.
S Lance Frazier (Mexico) for a 1st round draft pick (Scotland)
Scotland pay a high price for Frazier but he is a talented safety. Surprisingly he had just 29 tackles last year but should start at strong safety for the Claymores and see a lot more action. Mexico are looking good next year with three 1st round picks.
QB Ingle Martin and LB John Saldi (Mexico) for DT Montavious Stanley and a 1st round draft pick (Barcelona)
Good trade for both teams. Mexico trade a backup QB and talented LB Saldi for a 1st round pick and DT Stanley. Saldi had a quiet season with 22 tackles but has a bag full of talent and is rated as the Dragons top LB. DT Stanley needs some work but a great 1st round pick for Mexico.
CB Ethan Kilmer (Amsterdam) for a 6th round draft pick (Barcelona)
Another ex-Admiral joins the Dragons as Kilmer joins his ex-boss. Kilmer has talent but needs some work but is young and should develop.
LB Terrence Robinson (Amsterdam) for two 7th round draft picks (Barcelona)
Nice trade for Amsterdam as they pick up talented veteran Robinson. Robinson had just 2 tackles last year but had 70+ tackles in S17 and S18 and had 9 sacks in S17.
T Dave Volk (Amsterdam) for a 5th round pick (Ohio) (London)
London pick up veteran lineman Volk who was on the protected list and who has had a lot of success in the past with Amsterdam.
QB Quinn Gray (San Antonio) for an 8th round draft pick (Austria)
Austria pick up more competition in Gray who has talent but is still looking for his first FWL action.
HB Joe Hall (London) for a 3rd round draft pick (Bir) (Barcelona)
Hall the former London starter for the last 5 seasons moves to the rival Barcelona Dragons where he will play FB. With Quentin Griffin at HB and Hall at FB the Dragons look to have a great rushing attack.
DE Thomas Pittman (Austria) for a 6th round draft pick (Mexico)
Pittman who has 19 sacks the last two seasons including 7 last year is traded to the Aztecs. A good deal for Mexico.
K Seth Marler (London) for a 5th round draft pick (Ohio)
London trade their backup kicker, talented Marler to Ohio where he should battle for the starting job. Marler has played sparingly in the FWL but this could be the year he finally starts.
G Reuben Riley (Austria) for 5th, 7th and 8th round draft picks (London)
London pick up Austrias 2nd round pick last year, G Reuben Riley in exchange for a host of low draft picks. Nice trade for London as Riley has potential.
LB Ryan M Meyers (Rhein) for CB Earthwind Moreland and a 5th round pick (Austria)
Good trade for both teams. Austria pick up Meyers who has talent but didnt play much last year with just 4 tackles and a sack. Has 41 tackles and 8 sacks in his career. Rhein pick up talented CB Earthwind Moreland who has over 500 tackles in his career and 4 interceptions.
QB Tee Martin (Barcelona) for QB Joe Hamilton, 3rd, 7th and 8th round draft picks (Birmingham)
Joe Hamilton returns to his former HC as he played for der Berg in Amsterdam. Birmingham pay a high price for young QB Tee Martin but he has a ton of potential. Hamilton took the Fire to the playoffs last year and threw for over 3,700 yards and 14 td's and could be the new veteran starter with the young Dragons.
DT Robert Flickinger (Frankfurt) for a 6th round draft pick (S21) (London)
English born DT Rob Flickinger moves to London where he could start. Flickinger had 4 sacks last year and has 25 in his career.
A 5th round pick (Austria) for 6th, 7th and 8th round picks (Lon) (Barcelona)
Austria trade a 5th rounder for 3 lower round draft picks from Barcelona.
A 4th round pick (S21) (Austria) for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th round picks (Berlin)
Austria again stock up on draft picks hoping to draft a sleeper in day 2 of the draft. Berlin pick up a good draft pick for next season.
G Gus Felder (Birmingham) for 6th, 7th and 8th round draft picks (Barcelona)
Veteran offensive lineman joins the Dragons.
HB Erik Brown (Mexico) for a 2nd round draft pick and FB Daryl Kennedy (London)
With Joe Hall having a miserable season last year the Monarchs trade for Brown who looks to be their new starting HB. The price is high but they feel they have a starting RB for the next 5+ seasons.
LB Kyle Shotwell (Austria) for a 3rd round pick (Birmingham)
We like this trade, Shotwell a 5th round pick last year who didnt play as a rookie moves to Birmingham in exchange for a 3rd rounder. High price to pay for the LB.
DT Tim Anderson (Austria) for 6th, 7th and 8th round draft picks (Birmingham) and a 6th round pick (Sacramento) (Birmingham)
Birmingham trade a host of low draft picks for young DT Tim Anderson. Anderson hasnt started in the FWL but has potential for the future
A 1st round pick (Orlando) for a 1st round pick, DE Kevin Huntley and LB Prescott Burgess (Paris)
HUGE trade ! Paris move up and get the top overall pick but it doesnt come cheap, to move up 5 places the Musketeers trade their top pick and two good players. Huntley was the 3rd overall pick last year and as a rookie played well with 5 sacks and 13 tackles. Burgess only had 1 tackle last year but is highly rated and many thought he was the Musketeers 2nd best LB. After training camp Burgess could be a very good young starter for Orlando. Nice pickup for the Thunder with two young talented players, Paris move up to get the player they want.
DE Buck Rasmussen (Austria) for a 7th round draft pick (Mexico)
Brilliant trade for Mexico. Rasmussen might be a veteran but he had 12 sacks last year and has 96 for his career. In the last 3 seasons he has 37 sacks and has had double digit sacks every year. Great signing for Mexico as he becomes their 2nd best DE/DT.
LB Antonio Rodriguez (Austria) for 6th, 7th and 8th round picks (EOS 20) and an 8th round pick (S21) (Rhein)
Veteran LB Rodriguez had 65 tackles and 6 sacks last year and a year ago had probably the best season ever of an FWL LB. Rodriquez had 85 tackles and 12 sacks ! In S18 he had 93 tackles (led team) and 9 sacks, year before 80 tackles (led team) and 3 sacks and 6 sacks the year before with Frankfurt. BRILLIANT trade for Rhein as Rodriguez could cause real havoc at LB1 or 2. Named All-FWL 2 out of the last 4 seasons. Since joining the Fire he is ranked as the top LB on their team.
TE John Richter (Austria) for 6th, 7th and 8th round draft picks (Frankfurt)
Young TE Richter who does not have a catch yet in the FWL moves to Frankfurt where he hopes to move up to see some action. Austria get a whole host of draft picks.
LB Ryan Meyers (Frankfurt) for a 5th round draft pick (Rhein)
Veteran LB Meyers who had 63 tackles, 3 sacks moves to rivals Rhein. Meyers has 291 tackles and 15 sacks in his career. Frankfurt pick up a high draft pick in Round 5. Nice pickup for Meyers who is rated as the Fires 2nd best LB since he joined.
HB Quentin Griffin and DT J'Vonne Parker (Montreal) for 2nd and 3rd round draft picks (Season 20) and 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks (Season 21) (Barcelona)
Huge trade for both teams. Barcelona get the HB they want in Griffin who should spearhead a great rushing attack for the Dragons. They also pick up DT Parker who is a talented player with 28 sacks in his career and who will start full time for Barcelona. Montreal seem to start rebuilding as they pick up a host of high draft picks this year and next.
